Terms
The agreement between you and MoPilot LLC for the app and this site.

The agreement
By downloading MoPilot, creating an account or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
Your account
One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. We may suspend an account that is being shared, resold, or used to abuse the service.
Plans, billing and cancellation
The Free plan is free and needs no card. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or every three months, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are.
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the plan running until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate a part-used period. If we change a price, it takes effect at your next renewal and we will tell you before it does.
AI queries are metered per plan, and the limits are the ones published on the pricing page. Reaching the query limit pauses new AI answers until the account’s monthly window resets; it does not stop transcription, end your session, or delete anything.
What you may not do with it
Do not use MoPilot to break the law, to record people where the law requires their consent and you do not have it, or to sit an examination, certification or assessment that forbids assistance. Do not resell access, share one account across a team, attempt to extract our provider keys, or use the service to generate material that is illegal or that harasses somebody. We can suspend an account for any of these.
What the answers are worth
The answers MoPilot puts on screen are produced by language models. They can be wrong, and they can be confidently wrong. Everything the product says is a suggestion for you to judge before you say it out loud — it is not advice, and we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or fit for the conversation you are having.
Staying out of a screen share
The app asks the operating system to exclude its window from capture, and on current macOS and Windows that works: no bot joins the call, no extension is added to your meeting app, and the window is not in the share, the recording or a screenshot — no guarantee, since a few recent screen recorders on macOS can still capture it, an OS update can change the behaviour, and nothing stops somebody pointing a phone at your screen. We say so on the site as well.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up but do not promise a particular level of availability. It depends on providers we do not control, and we may change, suspend or discontinue parts of it. If we discontinue a paid feature outright, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
Your content, and ours
What you put into MoPilot — your material, your transcripts, your questions — stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service on your behalf: transmitting your request to the model that answers it, storing the backup of a call while Back up calls is on, and keeping the records described in the Privacy policy for as long as it says. That permission covers restoring your own calls to you, keeping a record of what the product was asked, and reading them to measure and improve how well it answers — and nothing else. We do not sell them and we do not train models on them. It ends when you turn the switch off, delete the call, or delete your account. The app, the site, the name and the mark are ours.
A call is kept for as long as your own Keep transcripts setting says, which is forever unless you change it, and that setting is applied to our copy as well as to the one on your Mac. You can delete a single call from the app at any time, and deleting your account removes all of them.
A transcript usually contains somebody other than you. Obtaining whatever consent the law where you are requires before recording a conversation is yours to do — see What you may not do with it above — and that applies to backing a call up as much as to recording it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, MoPilot LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or opportunity, or for the outcome of any conversation you used MoPilot in. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. You can stop using the product at any time. We may end your access if you break these terms.
